Overview

Orbico Group is one of Europe’s leading distribution and logistics companies, operating across numerous markets and bringing together thousands of employees from different backgrounds, functions and areas of expertise.

And among all those people are Orbico’s future managers.

To help them prepare for their first management role, Orbico created an internal development program built around learning, mentorship and practical experience.

Our task was to give that program a name, a voice, a distinctive visual identity and all the communication tools it needed to come to life.

Learning to Lead

Becoming a manager for the first time is exciting. It is also a pretty big leap.

Being great at your job does not automatically prepare you to lead a team, delegate responsibilities, navigate difficult conversations or make decisions that affect other people.

Future managers need the opportunity to learn, practise and ask questions before taking on their new role. They also need experienced mentors to support them along the way.

Orbico already had the ambition to develop its future leaders from within. We needed to give that ambition a name, an identity and a communication experience people would understand, recognise and want to be part of.

Ready, set, JUMP

The program needed a name that would reflect progress without making leadership development feel overly formal or intimidating.

Something short. Something active. Something with energy.

So, we named it:

Empowering the next generation of managers

JUMP, short for Junior Manager Program, captures the leap from individual contributor to first-time manager — as well as the smaller steps that lead up to it: learning new skills, changing perspective and building the confidence to lead others.

And the slogan brings that journey into one clear message: Learn Today. Lead Tomorrow.

Because great leadership doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with the decision to learn.

A look built to guide

The JUMP identity needed to feel as fresh and ambitious as the people taking part in the program.

Bold typography gives the name and key messages a strong presence, while black-and-white photography keeps the visual system human and authentic. Soft but distinctive colours bring in energy and help organise different learning topics and stages of the program.

The result is a colourful, confident and flexible identity that makes a serious development program feel motivating rather than intimidating.

Bringing JUMP to life

A development program has many moving parts. Invitations, presentations, learning materials, mentoring guidelines and plenty of information about what happens next.

Our job was to make sure they all felt like part of the same experience.

We applied the JUMP identity and communication concept across variety of materials.

Every touchpoint was designed to answer the questions participants naturally have: Where am I in the program? What do I need to do? And what comes next?

One place for the entire journey

To bring everything together, we designed the UX/UI solution for JUMP’s internal landing page.

The page gives mentors and mentees one central place to follow the program, explore the learning path and access relevant content.

The program is organised into clearly defined quarters and learning modules, covering topics ranging from becoming a manager and communicating with a team to decision-making, problem-solving and change management.

Colour-coded modules and a clear content hierarchy make it easy to see what lies ahead and navigate each stage of the journey.

Developing Leaders from Within

JUMP gives Orbico’s future managers the space and support to prepare for one of the biggest transitions in their careers.

Through structured learning, practical development and mentor support, participants can build the skills and confidence they need before stepping into a management role.

At the same time, Orbico is strengthening its leadership pipeline by developing future managers who already understand its business, people and culture.

Because future leaders do not simply step into leadership.

They learn, grow and prepare for it.
